Family-owned since 1912. One store at 200 Tilton Road, Northfield, NJ 08225. Questions about this piece: 609-241-0807.
Two shelves under a 72-inch top of Dark Gray Travertine, carried on a Smoked Gold metal frame with X-pattern bracing — the Montclair Brindle Console is 16 inches deep and 32 inches tall, a hallway or sofa-back piece with real display room below the stone.
The lower shelves take baskets and books; the stone top takes the lamp and whatever comes in the door. At 32 inches it sits just under the back of most sofas. In a Wildwood entry it is the first thing you see coming in, and the stone top gives it weight. It pairs with the Brindle Cocktail Table and Brindle End Table in the same travertine and metal.
White-glove delivery is available (delivery fee applies); the stone top is heavier than it looks.
