Family-owned since 1912. One store at 200 Tilton Road, Northfield, NJ 08225. Questions about this piece: 609-241-0807.
Eighty inches tall at the headboard, the Brando Bed is the biggest statement in Universal's Modern Origins line: an oversized, button-tufted headboard upholstered in Waltz, a performance fabric, on a frame in the Quartz finish. It comes in king and Cal King, both 83 inches wide and 89 long. The bed takes a mattress and box spring, and the bottom of the box spring sits 6 inches above the floor.
A headboard this tall wants a ceiling to match — nine feet lets it breathe — and a room where the bed is the main event. Performance fabric is made for daily use and easier cleaning. The Huston Dresser in the same Quartz finish is its natural partner, with the Accent Mirror in Bronze above it.
The Brando Bed With Panels adds 40-inch side panels if you want it wider. White-glove delivery is available (delivery fee applies).

Under a standard 8-foot (96-inch) ceiling it leaves 16 inches of clearance; it looks best with 9-foot ceilings. Measure before you order.

It depends on the bed. Universal designs some beds for a mattress only and others for a mattress and box spring — the product page says which applies, and our team can confirm before you order.
