Family-owned since 1912. One store at 200 Tilton Road, Northfield, NJ 08225. Questions about this piece: 609-241-0807.
Crossed legs give the Boulder Cross Console its name — an X-base under a 60-inch top, 14 inches deep and 32 tall, in Universal's Boulder finish. There is no shelf and no drawer; it is a surface on a sculptural base, with adjustable levelers to keep it steady on an old floor.
Fourteen inches deep is shallow enough for an entry hall where a deeper table would block the door, and 32 inches is a comfortable height to drop keys and mail. Behind a sofa it sits just under the back of most sofas. In a Cape May cottage with a narrow front hall, this is the console that fits.
The Boulder Round Side Table repeats the X-base at sofa-side scale. White-glove delivery is available (delivery fee applies), or pick up at the store.
Not sure it fits through the door or up the stairs? Will it fit? Our delivery guide
60 inches long, 14 inches deep, 32 inches tall.
No — it is an open console with a top on an X-shaped base.
At 32 inches tall it sits level with or just below most sofa backs, which run 32 to 36 inches.
Boulder, Universal's warm medium brown. The River Rock Cross Console is the same piece in the light finish.
The Metal Base Console is 76 inches long with four drawers on a metal base; this one is 60 inches, open, on an X-base in the same finish.
