Family-owned since 1912. One store at 200 Tilton Road, Northfield, NJ 08225. Questions about this piece: 609-241-0807.
Blue Seagrass wraps the whole body of the Bimini Chest — a textured wallpaper in blue, with long acrylic pulls on three drawers — in a 36-inch-wide case, 18 deep and 29 tall. Behind the drawers are two USB ports and two outlets, with wire access behind the drawer. The drawers run on soft-close undermount guides, and the bottom one is cedar-lined.
Universal lists it as a nightstand, and at 36 inches it is a wide one — the bedside piece for a king bed like the Chatham Poster Bed, where a 24-inch nightstand looks lost. It is the blue in a group that is mostly Sand Dune, White Sand and rattan — the Weekender group of the Coastal Living Home Collection — and a pair flanking a bed in a Stone Harbor shore house does the work a painted wall would.
Levelers and a tip kit are included.
