Family-owned since 1912. One store at 200 Tilton Road, Northfield, NJ 08225. Questions about this piece: 609-241-0807.
Oren Spa weaves sea-glass green, misty blue-gray and ivory into one dimensional fabric, and it is the stocked cover on the Asher Swivel Chair — a tailored, angular chair with gently flared track arms, a slightly pitched back and clean box cushions. It is 32 inches wide, 37 deep and 37 tall, with the seat 21 inches from the floor, 24 inches deep, and the arms at 26.
The swivel base is set in under the frame, so the chair reads as a stationary club chair until it turns. The colors in Oren Spa are the colors of a Ventnor bay window — water, fog, sand — which is why it works in a shore living room with white walls and a plain sofa. Two of them across from a sofa make a seating group for four.
