Family-owned since 1912. One store at 200 Tilton Road, Northfield, NJ 08225. Questions about this piece: 609-241-0807.
A rounded open back in Universal's Egret finish, a crisp white, sits over a seat in Nomad Snow — a Crypton performance fabric — on the Aruba Rattan Chair, a dining chair from the Getaway collection. It is 22 inches wide, 23 deep and 32 inches tall, with the seat 19 inches from the floor.
The low 32-inch back and the open weave keep a table light, and Crypton on the seat keeps white practical. It is drawn for a casual table — a kitchen table, a round table in a sunroom — and it goes with the Getaway bedroom's woven pieces, the Rattan Bench and Rattan Stool, if the chair ends up at a desk or in a corner instead. Getaway is part of Universal's Coastal Living Home Collection.
