The Trouper Fossil is a big La-Z-Boy — 41 inches wide, positioned for taller and heavier sitters. Triple Power means headrest, footrest, and recline angle each move on their own via the side control panel. Fossil is a deep-grey fabric that hides everyday wear well.
The plus 41-inch width isn't just for taller sitters — it also gives you room for a small dog or a laptop next to you. Rocker base under the power mechanism means the chair rocks smoothly at rest. The height dimension listed here (20") is the seat height, not the overall — overall runs 41-42 inches tall.
For customers rebuilding from surgery or joint issues, the Trouper is often the frame we point them toward: wider seat, easy standing, powered adjustments that don't require pulling a handle.
The Trouper is 41 inches wide — one of the widest rocker recliners on our floor. Bigger than a Jasper (40") or Astor (37"). Room for a taller/heavier sitter or a small companion.
Independent controls for headrest tilt, footrest lift, and recline angle. All button-operated from a side control panel.
Yes — rocker base under the power mechanism, so the chair rocks smoothly even when the power is off or the recliner is closed.
Many customers pick the Trouper for that reason — wider seat makes standing easier, powered adjust means you don't need arm strength to change positions. Ask our specialists about lift-chair frames if standing is very difficult.
A deep, cool-toned grey that hides everyday wear and pet hair well. Darker than the Cement or Granite grey options.
