Family-owned since 1912. One store at 200 Tilton Road, Northfield, NJ 08225. Questions about this piece: 609-241-0807.
Round, low, and heavily textured, the Tahiti drum cocktail table brings a global, artisan note to a seating area. It's cast in resin with a faux wood grain and finished in a gentle wash of brown and grey tones — this drum leans toward the lighter grey side — with a glazed effect that gives the surface real depth. At 42 inches across and 18 inches high, it anchors a room the way a great coffee table should.
Bassett makes the Tahiti tables in the USA, and they're designed to blend rather than match: pair the drum with the darker round lamp table for a collected look instead of a matched set.
It suits a Sea Isle City beach house as easily as a Cape May cottage — stop by our South Jersey showroom to see comparable Bassett occasional pieces in person.
