An inch and a quarter of solid American oak — the Rowan's top has the heft you feel when you set a dish down, the BenchMade line's craftsmanship argument made physical. A multi-step finish works the grain of oak and maple into view rather than under coats, and the contrasting dimensional base gives the graciously curved top its pedestal-of-honor stance.
Standard height, round geometry, easy conversation — the table shape where nobody sits below the salt. This is Bassett's fine-craftsmanship tier for buyers who plan to hand the table down rather than trade it in. See comparable BenchMade pieces at our Northfield showroom.
Bassett's craftsman line — emphasizing solid wood, thick tops, and multi-step finishes built to heirloom standards.
1.25 inches of solid oak — substantial to the eye and the hand.
Solid American oak with maple, under a multi-step finish that highlights each plank's grain.
Yes — the finish is designed to play up the wood's unique figuring; no two tops match exactly.
