Some sofas ask the room to adapt to them. The Raine Sofa works the other way: a tailored 85-inch frame with loose back cushions and a clean-lined silhouette that takes its character from whatever you put on it. Order it in your pick from hundreds of fabrics with a design consultant — a performance weave for a busy family room, a breezy linen look for a Wildwood beach place — and it is made to order for you.
The comfort math holds up, too: a 27-inch seat depth for genuine lounging, a 20-inch seat height that is easy to rise from, and medium-tone wood legs. Jonathan Louis builds it in the USA with imported materials.
