Family-owned since 1912. One store at 200 Tilton Road, Northfield, NJ 08225. Questions about this piece: 609-241-0807.
A larger-scale cocktail table at 48 inches long by 26 deep by 18 tall — sized for a sectional or a larger seating group (three-plus adults). 48 inches accommodates a coffee-table book stack, a tray of drinks, and a centerpiece without crowding.
The Alabaster Travertine finish reads Italian-Mediterranean rather than Northern-European traditional or modern-cool — suits homes with Mediterranean architectural elements (arches, terracotta tiles, wrought iron). Also works in coastal-Mediterranean cross rooms.
For the full Capri Mediterranean set: pair with the Capri End Tables (24-inch), the Capri Round End Table (22-inch), and the Capri Console Table (48-inch) as a coordinated living room.
A three-plus person sectional or a larger seating group. For a two-seat sofa alone, 48 inches may feel oversized — the 36-inch cocktail (Capri or other collection) fits better.
Under warm incandescent light it reads warmer cream; under cool LED it reads more grey-beige. Consistent Mediterranean character; specific tone shifts slightly with lighting.
Check the product photos — some Capri cocktails have a lower shelf for magazines and remotes; others are pure surface. Design varies.
Warm-toned Persian or Turkish rugs pair particularly well; also earth-toned solids. Avoid cool grey rugs which fight the warm Alabaster Travertine.
Standard wood finish. Wipe with mild soap for spills; use coasters for wet drinks. Not as durable as real stone.
