Family-owned since 1912. One store at 200 Tilton Road, Northfield, NJ 08225. Questions about this piece: 609-241-0807.
The Sylva is a classic rounded tub chair — welted seat cushion, sectioned back, a silhouette that pulls a room together without dominating it. Underneath, Bassett builds it on sinuous wire seat construction topped with a high-resiliency Qualux cushion, and the wood legs are removable.
Customization is the whole point. Order this accent chair in your choice of custom fabric across five grades, built in the USA to your spec. The family runs deeper too: a swivel version, plus leather editions of both chairs on their own pages.
The fabric wall at our Northfield showroom is the easiest way to narrow the field — bring a pillow, a photo, or a paint chip and work through swatches with a design consultant.
