An upholstered seat changes how long people linger at the table. This version of the Hideaway ladderback side chair pairs the collection's solid maple frame and slatted back with a fabric seat, built to order by Bassett in the USA.
It sits a touch deeper than the wood-seat ladderback — 26 inches front to back — and takes the same ten-plus finishes, so you can mix upholstered chairs at the heads of the table with wood seats down the sides.
Order it alongside a Hideaway table or on its own; our design consultants can help sort finish options either way.
Not sure it fits through the door or up the stairs? Will it fit? Our delivery guide
It's 20 inches wide, 26 inches deep, and 39 inches high.

Start with your room: leave about 36 inches between table edge and walls or furniture for chairs to pull out. Our design consultants can help you match table size and shape to your space.
If you want a specific size, finish, or configuration, made to order means the table fits your room instead of the other way around. Bassett builds to your specification in the USA.
