Family-owned since 1912. One store at 200 Tilton Road, Northfield, NJ 08225. Questions about this piece: 609-241-0807.
A pillow with an organic latex and kapok fill behaves differently from a polyester or foam one: it springs back when you fluff it, stays cool, and lets you set the loft yourself. The Avocado Green Pillow is filled with ribbons of GOLS-certified organic latex for structure and GOTS-certified organic kapok, a silky plant fiber that works as a vegan alternative to down, inside a GOTS-certified organic cotton cover. The fill is adjustable: remove some for a lower pillow or leave it full.
It suits side, back and combination sleepers, pairs with any mattress in the Avocado line, and carries GOTS certification on the finished pillow. No petroleum foam, polyester fiber or PLA. Standard, Queen and King.
Spot clean the cover and fluff it daily to keep the fill even. Ask at The Mattress Store inside our Northfield showroom to try a comparable Avocado pillow with the mattress you are considering.
Yes. The fill is loose latex ribbons and kapok, so you can take some out for a lower, softer pillow or keep it full for more height. Fluff it daily to redistribute the fill.
A soft, lofty fiber from the seed pods of the kapok tree, grown without pesticides. It feels like a cross between silk and cotton and gives the pillow its cloud-like loft without down or synthetic fiber.
Side, back and combination sleepers. If you sleep mainly on your side and want a contoured shape, the Green Side Sleeper Pillow is the same fill in a shape made for the shoulder gap.
Spot clean the organic cotton cover with cold water, no bleach, and hang dry. A pillow protector keeps it fresh between cleanings; Avocado's organic waterproof pillow protector is on this site.
Standard, Queen and King. Choose the size that matches your pillowcases.
Yes. Avocado is carried at The Mattress Store inside our Northfield showroom; ask our team which Avocado models you can try in the store before you decide.
Pillows and pillowcases come in Standard, Queen and King; mattress protectors and sheets follow the mattress size. If you are matching an Avocado mattress on this site, pick the same size here.
Follow the care label on the item: Avocado's organic cotton sheets, pillowcases and protectors machine wash in cold or warm water with a mild detergent and no bleach, and most prefer a low tumble or line dry. Pillows and toppers are spot-clean only.
Yes. Avocado's pillows, protectors, sheets and toppers carry GOTS certification for the finished product, and most are also certified to MADE SAFE and GREENGUARD Gold standards — the same programs that cover the mattresses.
