This is the least expensive way to get real TEMPUR-Material over springs. The Adapt Medium Hybrid 2.0 takes the entry Adapt comfort layer and puts it on a premium coil core, which is the combination most people are actually looking for when they say they want a Tempur-Pedic but do not want to lose the feel of a traditional mattress.
How it differs from the all-foam Adapt. We sell the TEMPUR-Adapt Medium as well, and it is the same comfort layer without the coils. All-foam absorbs motion completely and lets you settle deeper. The hybrid answers back — easier to change position on, a firmer edge to sit on, and more airflow through the base, so it runs a little cooler. Neither is better. Lie on both and your body picks one in under a minute.
Where it sits. Adapt is the entry tier: a shallower TEMPUR comfort layer than ProAdapt, which is the next step up. If you want the hybrid construction with more material under you, the ProAdapt Medium Hybrid is the same idea one tier higher. This one is the price-accessible entry into hybrid TEMPUR.
